The Lake Zurich Flames board is comprised of parents, coaches and professionals across flag, tackle and cheerleading.
Board members have been nominated, interviewed and voted upon. This process occurs once per year and those interested in serving on the board, in any capacity, may submit their name for consideration.

Kyle has been a member of the Flames Board since 2017. Kyle and his wife, Amy, have four children. Lucas(16) played for the sparks and Flames for seven years and is now a LZHS football player. Joshua(11) is a Middleweight Flames player and Nathan(9) is a Featherweight Flames player. Kyle's wife and his daughter, Sydney(14), work with the concession stand at Knox Park. Kyle has coached for the LZ Flames for eight seasons and has also coached for LZ Hoops Boys Basketball, and LZ Jr Bears Girls Basketball.
Vice President of Football Operations - League Rep
Chris is entering his 6th year as a Lake Zurich Board Member and has just wrapped up his 8th season as a Flames coach. Chris and his wife Lindsay, have three children of which two are currently active within the Flames organization. Dylan, their oldest, finished his last year as a Lake Zurich Flame football player and is looking forward to beginning his freshman year playing football for the Lake Zurich Bears. While Addison has stepped aside from cheerleading this past season, she is extremely excited to begin rooting on her sister this spring and helping out around Knox Park for the 2022 season. Emmie, their youngest daughter, had an absolute blast participating in the Lake Zurich Sparks Flag Football program in 2021 and will now focus on Cheerleading with the Lake Zurich Flames cheer program.
Vice President of Business Operations - Treasurer
Chris is entering his 9th year with the Flames program, a son who has been with the program since flag and a daughter that spent several years in cheer program as a participant and currently a student-coach. He has coached in the flag program and tackle levels. He is going into his third year on the board and his second year as part of the executive board.
Director of Cheerleading
Nicole has been coaching her oldest daughter Maya’s Cheer Team for the past 5 years. Her son Vaughn has been playing Football with the Flames since Kindergarten and her youngest daughter Bella just moved to the Flames Competitive Cheer Team after doing Game Cheer the past two years. Nicole has been on the Flames Board for one year and is looking forward to taking on the Cheer Director Role. Nicole has served as the IRCA representative and is well aware of all the State rules and regulations for Cheer. She is currently developing a Cheer Committee and is passionate about growing the Flames Cheer Program. Nicole believes Cheer helps each child in the program learn how to be a team player, improve coordination and strength, develop leadership skills and improve their confidence. Her goal is to ensure that every cheerleader in our program keeps their head up high and their bow higher.
Director of Communication
Regina has been part of the Flames Board since 2018. She served as a general board member in year one, but took on the managing the Flames social media sites and participating in as many events as possible. She is now in her fourth year as the Director of Communication and works to ensure our community and Flames Families are in the the know about important dates and information via social media and email blasts. She was also the Flag Commissioner for the 2020 season. Regina has three sons, two who participate in Flames tackle and one who will be a freshman at LZHS in 2022! Her biggest mission is to grow the program and to make sure our town is educated on the benefits of participating in youth sports!
Director of Competition
Dave is entering his 4th year of involvement with the Flames and joined the Flames Board in 2020. Dave and his wife, Kristin, have two children active with the Flames. Their son, Charlie, has been playing with the Flames since 2019 and their daughter, Lillie, began her journey with Cheer as a kindergartener in 2021. In addition to coaching with the Flames for 3 years, Dave has helped coach his son's baseball teams with LZBSA.
