Tackle football not only is a sport, it's also a way of life. At the Flames, it's our hope to teach the love of the game and to instill the life lessons that the game of football uniquely provides. These lessons include respect, sportsmanship, dedication, discipline, and teamsmanship.

Whether a first-year bantam player, or an experienced heavyweight player who's preparing for high school football, our goal is to teach each player the right way to play while maintaining the passion that comes from playing the greatest of games.

The Lake Zurich Flames offer tackle football at the following levels:

• Bantam
• Featherweight
• Middleweight
• Lightweight
• Heavyweight

Coaches are selected by a board-appointed Coaching Committee, and are required to attend TCYFL training prior to coaching each season. In addition, the Flames conduct regular coaching clinics that are led by coaches from Lake Zurich High School and veterans of youth football programs.

Flames teams compete with towns throughout the TCYFL league at one of three levels: Pac 10; Mac 10; or, Big 10.

The Fees for Tackle Football are as follows.

$375 Registration Fee

$200 REFUNDABLE deposit for equipment.  A check is collected for this but not cashed unless equipment in not turned in.
